Be Content – Notes from biblestudy quiet time

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: Philippians 4:10‭-‬11 NKJV

Verse 10: The Lord cares for us. We often wonder why the Almost God won’t reach out from heaven and make things grand. But the scripture says /He lacked opportunity/. Having chosen to pursue free will we are responsible for our lives. He can no longer badge into our lives to work His magic. Not until we fully hand over our will to Him. And even when we pick Him, he can only help the odds, but not so loudly so much as people not worshiping in truth can shallow heartedly seek him. He seeks an opportunity it bless you where it counts and not how you want because what we want is a sumation of our blindness. What we need is a sum total of his knowledge of us, both future past and present. He seeks to enrich us daily.
Verse11: /be content in whatever state/; Just like Jesus in gesthame struggling with a cup. He didn’t deserve. A lot of situation come at us that we don’t deserve… We think God should do something. Now Jesus being human and cladded with all types and matter of sin is struggling with what he has to swallow, as in endure. Being human he has to wonder if it’s worth it. He has to wonder if he should be Him that suffers. May he was thinking, “have I done enough, said enough, left them with enough to know you by” But he concludes, “Your will be done.” He is content with God’s will being done. I think it’s cause he truly believes God will see him through because God know for sure how everything will be pieced together when all is said and done. He knows Jesus will rise, maybe Jesus wasnt even sure at that moment, and he knows, the Devil is shortsighted , lacking in knowledge of what’s about to transpire. Note the devil knows what the scripture says but he is consumed with greed that he’s about to take on the greatest score, Greater than Job.. someone who doesn’t deserve death but everyone has him as an underdog now. Worst than barabas what is just doesn’t concern him, he only cares about being powerful he fights the battle and loses the war because he didn’t care to read, understand and convince the fine print. But though Jesus struggles, he is content in his knowledge that his Father has ‘gat’ him and so we too, should find comfort in knowing our father who sees all will not let you go through something you won’t come out on top from. It might not me on top the way you want, but it will all come together when all is said and done
